Our joinery products are
made in our own factory
( not contracted out, or
bought in ) this means
we can oversee the
quality control process
so ensuring only the
very best finish is
allowed to leave the
factory.
Our unique adjustable
base system has been
developed by using the
same construction
methods as a suspended
floor in a domestic
home.
Fully filled between the
timbers with high
density Celotex
insulation, and layered
with a water proof
membrane it is then
topped with water proof
chipboard flooring.
Finally the floor is
finished with wood
engineered uni-click
floor boards.
The wall construction is
of tanalised timber,
then lined with ply for
stability and externally
layered with very high
performance insulation.
Over this is introduced
a 25 mm airflow space so
the garden building can
breath, then clad with
western red cedar, a
beautiful natural
product renowned for its
low maintenance
durability and long
life.
Internally the walls are
finished with
plasterboard and
skimmed, then decorated
with two coats of Farrow
and Ball emulsion, then
finished by hand made
skirting and
architraves.
Our glazing units are
Pilkington “Low carbon
Emission” and conform to
British Standard.
The roof covering is
from a one coat
reconstituted tyre
rubber membrane, there
are no joints to leak,
it is finished around
the edges with coated
angle covers for a
beautifully neat line.
This roof type is
perfect for the adding
of natural succulent
sedum planting.
