Planning Permission & Building Regulations
The vast majority of our installations do not
require Planning Permission but where planning
is required we will guide you all the way.
A
garden building of less than 30sq metres doesn’t
have to meet any regulations, but anything over
that is subject to Planning and/or Building
Regulations.
It is likely that you will need planning consent
if any of the following apply:

The structure will
take up 50% or more of your garden
·
The garden office will
be within 5m of your house
·
Your home is a listed
building
·
You live in a
conservation area
·
The garden office will
be sited between your house and a public highway
·
You wish to install a
kitchen, W.C and /or bathroom facilities.
